Our North Phoenix office is on 64th Lane, near the Happy Valley and Lake Pleasant Parkway area. From there our crews reach Stetson Valley, Norterra, Sonoran Foothills, and the neighborhoods along the I-17 and Loop 303. This part of Phoenix is full of families, and most homes were built in the last 25 years.

Family Pools Get Used Hard

When there are kids in the house, the pool gets used almost every day from May to October. More swimmers means more sunscreen, sweat, and dirt in the water. That uses up chlorine fast. We test and balance the water every week so it stays safe to swim in. Kids also track in grass and dirt from the yard. It ends up on the pool floor, and we vacuum it out as needed.

Toys, floats, and pool noodles are part of the deal too. We work around them. We’ll also let you know if we see a gate that doesn’t latch or a loose cover on a drain. Got a birthday party or a family cookout coming up? Tell us and we’ll have the pool ready.

Close to the Desert

A lot of North Phoenix homes back up to washes, hills, or open desert. That brings in dust, leaves, and the odd scorpion or lizard. Monsoon storms can dump a lot of dirt in a short time. We clean baskets and brush the pool every visit. After a big storm, call us and we’ll come check things out.

First Visit Checklist

On our first visit, we go over the whole pool so we know where it stands:

• Test and balance the water
• Check the salt cell, if you have one
• Look at pump speed settings and run times
• Clean the filter and check the pressure
• Look for leaks around the equipment pad

Newer Equipment

Most pools up here have a variable-speed pump, and many have salt systems. That equipment saves money, but it still needs to be checked. A salt cell that’s coated with scale stops making chlorine. A pump set to the wrong speed may not filter enough water. We check both on every visit.

When something does break, our repair team gives you a price, then fixes it. We work on pumps, filters, heaters, and salt systems.

Hard Water Still Applies

Even newer pools deal with Phoenix’s hard water. Calcium builds up on the tile line and inside the salt cell. A cell covered in white crust makes less chlorine, and your water starts to turn cloudy. We clean the cell when it needs it and keep the water balanced to slow the build-up down.

Heating the Pool in Spring and Fall

North Phoenix sits a bit higher than downtown, and nights can get cool in spring and fall. Many families here have a heater or heat pump to stretch the swim season. We check the heater at the start of each season, so it works the first time you turn it on.

Yes. You’ll get a set day and the same tech. If a holiday moves your day, we’ll let you know ahead of time.

Do you service pools in Anthem?

Yes. Anthem is a short drive from our North Phoenix office, and we have customers all over it. Most homes there are about 20 years old. Many are due for a new pump or filter, so we check the equipment closely along with the water. Anthem’s HOAs also have rules about how yards look, and a green pool can bring a letter. Weekly service keeps that from happening.

Can you help with a pool that has turned green?

Yes. We’ll treat the water, clean the filter, and brush the pool. Most green pools clear up in a few days. Then we set you up on weekly service so it stays clear.
