Pool Equipment Repair and Installation

When a pump quits in July, you need it fixed fast. Our repair techs fix and install pool equipment all over the Valley, from our first office in Glendale to our newest crews in Goodyear and North Phoenix. Most jobs are done in-house by our own people.

Before any repair starts, we tell you what’s wrong and what it will cost. No surprises and no hidden fees.

Repairs We Handle

Pumps. Leaks, a motor that won’t start, a loud bearing, or weak water flow. We track down the cause and fix it. If the pump is too far gone, we’ll tell you straight and give you options.

Filters. We backwash, clean, or replace filter media and broken parts inside the filter. A filter that’s clogged or cracked lets dirt back into your pool.

Heaters. We diagnose heaters that won’t light, shut off early, or just don’t heat well. Ignition problems are common, and so is scale buildup from our hard water.

Plumbing and valves. We find and fix leaks, clogs, and worn valves in the pipes that run your pool. If you’re losing water and can’t tell where it’s going, we do leak detection too.

Electrical. Our repair techs handle most standard pool electrical work, like wiring for lights and pumps, and they do it to code. If a job is more complex, we bring in a licensed electrician. We won’t take on something we’re not sure of just to keep the job.

Pool cleaners. We service and repair automatic cleaners, pressure-side cleaners, and in-floor cleaning systems. If you own a robotic cleaner, we know how those work too.

Equipment We Install

Sometimes a repair isn’t worth it, or you just want something better. We install:

  • Pumps sized to your pool, so they move enough water without wasting power
  • Filters: sand, cartridge, or DE (diatomaceous earth), matched to your pool
  • Heaters: gas or electric to stretch your swim season. We can install solar heating if you ask for it
  • Automation systems so you can run your pool from a control panel or your phone
  • Salt chlorine generators, which make their own chlorine from salt and give the water a softer feel
  • LED pool lights in a range of colors and modes. They use less power than old bulbs

If you’re not sure whether to repair or replace, we’ll lay out both options. Then you decide.

Keep Repairs From Happening

The best repair is the one you never need. Our preventive service includes:

  • Scheduled inspections to catch worn parts before they fail
  • Seasonal adjustments, like setting pump run times for summer heat and dialing them back in the cooler months

Equipment that’s tuned right lasts longer and costs less to run. If you’re on our pool maintenance plan, we’re already checking your equipment every week. You’ll hear about small problems while they’re still small.

Arizona Is Tough on Equipment

Pumps here run long hours in 110-degree heat. Hard water leaves scale inside heaters and salt cells. Dust storms clog filters. It all adds up, and a lot of the repair calls we get could have been avoided with a little upkeep. That’s why we pay attention to the whole system, not just the part that broke.

Signs Your Equipment Needs Help

You don’t have to wait for something to quit. Call us if you notice any of these:

  • The pump is louder than usual, or it screeches or grinds
  • Air bubbles in the pump basket, or bubbles blowing out of the return jets
  • The filter pressure gauge reads much higher or lower than normal
  • The heater clicks but won’t light, or shuts off after a few minutes
  • Water pooling around the equipment pad
  • A breaker that keeps tripping when the pump or lights turn on
  • The water level dropping faster than normal

Most of these start small. Fixing them early usually costs a lot less than waiting for the part to fail.

How a Repair Call Works

  1. You call (623) 526-4945 or send us a request online.
  2. A repair tech comes out and figures out what’s wrong.
  3. We tell you what it will take and what it will cost.
  4. Once you say yes, we fix it, often on the same visit if we have the part.

After the job, you’ll get an emailed report showing what we did. You can also track it in our customer portal. It shows the status of current and upcoming repairs, your repair history, and the details on the equipment you have. If something else comes up, you can open a case there to report it.

One Call for Everything

We’re a full-service pool company. Besides repairs and installs, we do weekly pool cleaning, green pool cleanups, acid washes, drain and refills, tile cleaning, and leak detection. Customers tell us that’s why they stick with us. They only need one number.

Common Questions

Should I repair my pump or replace it?

It depends on the age of the pump and what’s wrong. A leaking seal on a newer pump is an easy fix. A burned-out motor on an old single-speed pump often isn’t worth fixing. In that case, a new variable-speed pump can cost less to run each month. We’ll give you both options.

How fast can you get out here?

Call us and we’ll get a tech out as soon as we can. A pump that stops in the summer is urgent, because a pool without circulation can turn green in a few days. We treat it that way.

Can you install equipment I bought myself?

Call us and ask. We’ll want to check that it’s the right size and type for your pool first.
