Pool Service in North Scottsdale, AZ

North Scottsdale pools tend to be bigger than the average backyard pool, and they have more going on. In DC Ranch, Grayhawk, Troon, and McDowell Mountain Ranch, you’ll see negative-edge pools, attached spas, fire bowls, and waterfalls. Many run on an automation system you can control from your phone. Our crews work on this kind of equipment every week, from the pump pad all the way to the spa controls.

More Equipment, More to Check

A basic pool has a pump, a filter, and maybe a heater. Many North Scottsdale pools have two or three pumps, a spa heater, lights, and a control panel that ties it all together. When one part is set wrong, the rest of the system works harder than it should. All that equipment takes longer to service, so plans are based on the size of the job. Here’s how our plans are priced.

On every visit we check:

  • Pump run times and speeds in the automation schedule
  • Filter pressure and heater operation
  • The spa spillover and any water features
  • The catch basin and pump on negative-edge pools
  • Robotic cleaners, if you have one

If something looks off, we’ll tell you what we found and what it costs to fix before we touch it. Our equipment repair crew can take it from there.

Desert Debris and Wind

Homes up here often back up to open desert or the McDowell Sonoran Preserve. That’s a big reason people live here. It also means palo verde blossoms, mesquite pods, and sand blow into the pool. On a negative-edge pool, it all ends up in the catch basin. That basin has to be cleaned out, or the pump can run dry.

In spring, the palo verde trees bloom. One windy afternoon can cover a pool in yellow blossoms, so we sometimes add an extra skim during those weeks.

Water Chemistry on Larger Pools

Big pools and water features lose more water to the sun and heat. Each time the auto-fill tops them off, more calcium comes in. We balance the water each week to keep scale off the tile, the rock work, and the glass tile on many vanishing edges. Once scale sets in on glass tile, it’s hard to get off.

Spas need their own attention. A spa holds less water and runs hotter, so its chemistry shifts faster than the pool’s. We test the spa side too, not just the main pool.

When You’re Away for the Summer

A lot of North Scottsdale owners leave for part of the year. We keep the pool on its weekly schedule while you’re gone. After each visit you’ll get an emailed service report, so you can see exactly what was done. If a part fails, we call you before we fix anything. From wherever you are, you can also log in to our customer portal to check your water readings and any repair updates.

Can you work with my pool automation system?

Yes. We work with the common control systems found on North Scottsdale pools. We can adjust schedules and settings during our visits.

Will you clean my pool if I have a landscaper and other service people coming too?

Yes. We work around gardeners, pest control, and other crews all the time. Just tell us your gate code or access plan, and we’ll stay out of their way. Gated communities are no problem either. Add us to your guest list and we’ll handle the rest.

We’re fully licensed, bonded, and insured in Arizona. You can look us up under ROC #356379.
