Sun City opened in 1960. It was one of the first retirement towns of its kind in the country. That means a lot of the backyard pools here have been around for 40 or 50 years. We take care of these pools every week from our Glendale office, just down the road.

Old Pools Need a Careful Eye

A pool this old has seen a lot of Arizona summers. The plaster may be thin or rough. The tile line may have years of calcium on it. The pump and filter may be the second or third set the house has had.

None of that means the pool is in bad shape. It just needs someone who knows what to look for. On every visit we:

Clean and brush the pool
Test and balance the water
Check the pump, filter, and timer
Look for cracks, leaks, or worn spots

If we see something that needs fixing, we’ll tell you first. Our repair team will give you a price before any work starts.

Gone for the Summer?

Many people in Sun City spend the hot months back home up north. A pool left alone in July can turn green in a week. We keep coming every week while you’re gone. You’ll get an emailed service report after each visit, and we’ll call you if something breaks. When you get back in the fall, the pool is ready to use.

Some Sun City pools are small, and some homes only have a spa. Size doesn’t matter to us. Every pool gets the same care each week, and the price fits the size.

Calcium Build-Up on the Tile

After decades of Arizona’s hard water, a lot of Sun City pools have a white or gray crust along the tile line. That’s calcium. It won’t hurt you, but it looks bad and it gets harder to remove the longer it sits. We can clean it off, and weekly water balancing keeps it from coming back as fast.

The same calcium can build up inside an old heater or clog the filter. That’s one more reason we check the equipment every time, not just the water.

Easy to Deal With

We know a lot of our Sun City customers would rather not climb around checking the pump. You don’t have to. We bring all the chemicals. We don’t need you to be home. The same tech comes on the same day each week, so you’ll know who to expect. Service is month to month, so there’s no long contract to sign.
